Elsewhere, Home

This project traces the emotional connection to “home” as both memory and experience. To live elsewhere is to question identity: Who am I? Where do I belong? Yet nature—through its landscapes—offers a bond that transcends distance, carrying fragments of culture, memory, and belonging.

Captured across different countries and time zones, these landscapes reveal unexpected similarities. They reflect reality, but also mirror imagined spaces of home—at once familiar and estranged, near and far.

We all carry memories of home, even when seeking new lives and fresh beginnings. Perhaps the true question is not whether we can leave home behind, but how home continues to live within us—wherever we are.
