These are all images of real scars.
They come from different individuals, and they are in parts of their bodies, which are usually hidden from view. They are the result of car crashes, knife stabs, allergies, medical operations, etc.
In the video, the various individuals were asked to tell their memories and stories related to their scars in their own languages.
The usage of their mother language makes it easier for us/them to get to their emotions. Since most of the statements will not be understood, there will not be any judgment made about any specific story. The lack of subtitles is intentional and helps us to connect with the people, to be just concerned, only because of their scars.
We all have scars and we all have a story to tell. This is what connects us as human beings.
